Moldavian strip tease, sultry diva numbers, and paltry mime are suddenly interrupted by a lone suitcase smack in the middle of the cabaret. An attack? An absent-minded patron? The Cabaret performers get on the “case…” But the variety show quickly devolves into a paranoid nightmare of caution tape and emergency “laws” in the name of security. Original songs in the spirit of Kurt Weill interrupt the mayhem for reflection and water spritzes.
